Stories on Silk

My Art pieces are my life, thoughts, dreams, feelings, and senses. Each has a story that unfolded through my experienced emotions.

I was born in 1964 in a small city in Siberia, Novosibirsk, Russia and from early age, my mother would wake me up with Classical music. My Kindergarten years were full of magic and wonder—my classroom was filled with candlelight, classical music, and storytelling.

It was in this beautiful setting how it all began— the sound of music and being aware of my senses connected to my inner creativity.

Touching silk soft tenderness connects me to all my senses—I feel the gentle soft vibration moving through my fingers, my hands, my arm, and my heart. When words fail to express, silk becomes the bridge to my inner world.
